This position plays a vital role in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain compassionate caregivers while supporting our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring
- Respond promptly and professionally to employment inquiries.
- Develop and manage recruiting strategies through online platforms, community outreach, schools, churches, job fairs, and referral sources.
- Manage job postings and applicant pipelines using the applicant tracking system.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews in a timely, professional manner.
- Complete reference checks, background screenings, motor vehicle checks, and drug screenings in accordance with Home Instead standards.
- Maintain accurate applicant and employment records, including I-9s, W-4s, driver's licenses, insurance documentation, and personnel files.
- Coordinate and conduct new Care Professional orientation.
- Facilitate required state and Home Instead training programs.
- Ensure new hires have access to all required systems and resources before orientation.
- Review and update orientation and training materials regularly.
- Monitor compliance with all required training and certifications.
- Build strong relationships with Care Professionals through regular communication and support.
- Conduct onboarding touchpoints during the first shift, first week, 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day milestones.
- Perform annual performance reviews and ongoing coaching conversations.
- Recognize birthdays, work anniversaries, and other employee milestones.
- Plan and facilitate Care Professional meetings and engagement activities.
- Conduct exit interviews and identify retention trends.
- Maintain accurate employee availability, attendance, and personnel records.
- Monitor attendance and communicate concerns with the Service Coordinator.
- Document employee and client interactions thoroughly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead standards and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including EOE, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and Department of Labor requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of employment records to maintain compliance.
- Partner with the Service Coordinator and Client Care Coordinator to meet staffing needs.
- Assist with client and Care Professional issue resolution.
- Participate in Care Professional and client introductions as needed.
- Answer office phones and assist with client inquiries when necessary.
- Participate in the shared on-call rotation, typically one weekend per month.
- Support additional office operations and projects as assigned.
- Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, employee engagement, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing applicant tracking and scheduling software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Successful candidates will:
- Recruit and hire qualified Care Professionals consistently.
- Conduct interviews promptly, typically within 48 hours of initial screening.
- Ensure all required training and onboarding requirements are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate employment records and compliance documentation.
- Foster meaningful relationships that improve Care Professional engagement and retention.
- Collaborate effectively with office staff to provide exceptional support to clients and caregivers.
